Free sewing patterns

Garments and projects drafted to your size: choose your style and measurements in Sew Patterner, then print the pattern at home (A4 or Letter), at a copy shop (A0), or use it with a projector.

• T-shirt

  A classic T-shirt in stretch knit, with a neckband: crew, scoop or V-neck, short to long sleeves.

• Tank top

  A sleeveless knit top with bound neck and armholes: scoop, crew or V-neck.

• Shift dress

  A simple woven dress, straight or A-line, with a bust dart, facings and a back zip; sleeveless to long sleeves.

• Fitted skirt

  A darted skirt with a waistband and a back zip: pencil, straight or A-line, mini to maxi.

• Circle skirt

  A swishy skirt cut as a circle (or a half or quarter) with a waistband and a side zip.

• Gathered skirt

  A dirndl skirt from rectangles: one, two or three tiers, an elastic waist or a waistband, and pockets.

• Pull-on trousers

  Easy trousers with an elastic waist: shorts, knee, cropped or full length, wide, straight or tapered legs, and pockets.

• Tote bag

  A sturdy tote with boxed corners, long or short handles, an optional lining and an inside pocket.

• Apron

  A bib apron with a neck strap, long ties and a big front pocket, sized to you.

• Cushion cover

  A square or oblong cushion cover with an envelope back (no zip) or a zip, for any pad size.

• Bucket hat

  A bucket hat to fit your head: crown, sides and a sloping brim, reversible if you like.

• Bodice block

  A close-fitting bodice and sleeve to your measurements, with bust and waist darts: test the fit in calico, then design from it.
